Noh
OJAPAN is best at Nohgaku experiences. It is an experience that is rarely offered anywhere else. Nohgaku is a representative Japanese performing art that has been performed and handed down for over 600 years since the Muromachi period (1336 – 1573). The words and intonation are ancient and still retain the style of the Muromachi period. For more information, click here (Nohgaku Association)
Tea Ceremony
The tea ceremony is a ritual in which you prepare tea and serve it to guests while calming your mind. It is not just about drinking tea, but is a traditional Japanese culture that allows you to feel the beautiful spirit of hospitality and wabi-sabi. It is also a culture that combines several arts, such as the etiquette of entertaining guests, the arrangement of the tea room, tea utensils, and Japanese sweets. It is one of the contents that foreigners enjoy.

Pottery
Ceramics is the technique of making pottery, which can be broadly divided into two types: earthenware made from soil and porcelain made from stone powder. These raw materials are crushed finely and mixed with water to make a clay-like substance, which is then shaped into plates, vases, and other objects, which are then placed in a kiln and fired at high temperatures. It is a popular experience for foreigners, but it can take up to a month for the finished product to be sent.

Sunago(Gold leaf decoration)
Sunago is a traditional technique passed down in Japan for 1000 years, in which gold leaf powder is sprinkled on paper, strips of paper, colored paper, and sliding door paper. It got its name from the fact that the fine grains of gold leaf on the screen look like sand. You can try making sunago on folding fans, coasters, and other items. It also makes a great souvenir, and is a hit with foreigners.
